The MTN STRNG Route

Your journey in health and fitness is a unique one – you have your own goals, history, injuries, limitations. Parents don’t have the same constraints as professional athletes; backcountry skiers need different training than resort skiers; trail runners and mountain bikers may share the trails, but they shouldn’t share a training program.

In short, a cookie-cutter program probably isn’t the right thing for YOU – unless your goal is to get really good at exercising in a single environment.

We’ve taken the best of what group programs can offer – community and cost – and built an adventure that’s customized for you, with guardrails and belay stations when you need them, and beautiful, rugged, exposed views when you’re ready.

We all start at The Basecamp, where we determine the objective, assess the conditions, and plan our route.

  • In a strategy session we outline goals (the objective); through our MTN STRNG joint-by-joint assessment we uncover movement limitations and injuries we need to consider (the conditions); and we plan the most efficient route to achieve your objective.

Then you’re ready to get onto The Path with an expert guide to ensure you move quickly but don’t fall off any cliffs.

  • In private coaching sessions, one-on-one with an expert coach, you’ll learn the fundamentals of training to build independence, so you’re ready to continue the journey with fewer guiderails.

The Path brings you to The Ascent: working hard, gaining elevation, and enjoying the views that come with your progress.

  • The Ascent is the best of all possible worlds: training in a semi-private environment, with others who on their own adventures. You’ll continue to have the direct support of our expert coaches, including one who’ll check in regularly to make sure you have everything you need.

The Ascent leads you to The Summit – and many more summits after that, where we take on every new mountain that arises in front of us.

  • The Summit – your personal peak, is just the first of many adventures ahead of you. You’ve reached the goals you outlined in Basecamp, and now it’s time to set your sights on new objectives – peaks, cliffs, canyons, and plains. There’s no limit to where you can go, or what you can achieve.
