Coaching is a calling, and it should be rewarding – personally, professionally, and financially.
And it requires a deep skillset – connecting with people, teaching movement, thinking holistically about the entire person.
It takes time, experience, and guidance to build that skillset. And we’d love to walk that path with you.
WFA’s Coach Development Program begins with a 12-week mentorship phase, where you’ll learn to coach – not just exercises, but people – and how to educate clients on holistic wellness.
At the end of that first phase, we’ll decide, together, whether or not to move into Phase II, a paid apprentice coach position, where you’ll go deeper into developing and practicing your skills.
Paid, full-time coaching positions are offered at the conclusion of Phase II, to coaches who have shown competency across the full range of skills.
We equip our coaches with a range of skills:
– Assessments to inform program design
– Goal-setting to establish client’s deepest desires for training
– Exercise selection plus progressions and regressions
– Program design for performance and longevity, including strength and endurance
