Coaches change lives. We’re mentors, guides, and role models for our clients.
We know how to move, and we can see the details. We teach our clients the how and the why, not just the what.
We know that connecting with individuals matters most. We start by coaching people, and then we coach movements and exercises.
At least, that’s how we see it at Wasatch Fitness Academy. It’s more than being a “personal trainer,” or a “fitness instructor.” We’re in the business of changing lives.
Is that the change you want to make in the world?
Coaches at WFA run group sessions of 4-10 members, in fundamental and performance training programs.
Skilled coaches also deliver private coaching sessions with single clients, to address individual concerns, injuries, and goals.
Senior coaches also onboard new clients, and develop individualized training programs to meet specific needs of clients.
Are you a strong critical thinker? Do you get excited at finding unique solutions to problems others haven’t even noticed yet?
Are you a teacher by nature – stoked to help others get the gist of a topic?
Are you organized-yet-chaotic? Able to keep it all together, but not fall apart when the situation changes?
You’ve got some coaching experience. Personal trainer? CrossFit coach? Yoga or pilates teacher? I’m open.
You’ve got a certification of some sort, or you’re able to make that happen soon.
You love movement, you know what intensity can feel like in your body, and you’re able to communicate about positions, muscles, and joints.
You’re detail-oriented and you don’t let things fall through the cracks.
You’re professional. On-time, attentive, with good communication skills
The process is straight-forward. Use the form below to give us your contact information, tell us a little bit about yourself, and upload your resume (required) and cover letter (very highly recommended).
You’ll hear back from us in a day or two; if it could be a good fit, from what we see on your application, we’ll schedule a quick call. From there, we have a few more steps to check that it’s a good fit (generally over a week or so). If we’re all thumbs-up, we’ll start the onboarding process and get you started with us.
